Paul & I shot photo & video for this destination elopement. It was such a fun trip! We flew out of LAX into Kalispell Montana. We stayed in a tiny little cabin in a city called Hungry Horse. Our cabin was about 30 minute from the entrance of the park.
We Flew into Montana on Thursday & stayed until Sunday evening. Our Elopement was on Friday. We did take a day or two to explore the little town on Hungry Horse & we even drove back in Kalispell for some shopping g & eating.
Exploring the park on Friday for our Elopement was amazing. The view were epic & we even met some friendly mountain goats!
Overall this whole trip was a dream & we cant wait to go back!
Their love story
During the Elopement
The Elopement was on Friday the 7th of July. Paul & I woke somewhat early & had some morning coffee while sitting on the front porch & enjoying the amazing scenery. Around 11:00 am we went into town & had some breakfast at a cute little bakery & walked around into a few cute little local shops. Around 12:00 it was time to head back to our cabin & start gathering our gear & getting ready for our elopement. We headed over to Shae & Billy's cabin around 1:00 so that we could capture some get ready shots of the bride & groom. After we captured the brides dress, & flat lay as well as some amazing detail shots it was time to head out to their first look location.
Once we got to the little creek for their first look Paul put a mic on billy & made sure Shae was ready to walk down to billy & tap his shoulder. They read the most beautiful private vows & we took some amazing bridals.
After the first look we hopped in Billy's truck & headed into the park for their ceremony. The ceremony location was about a 2 hour drive & a little hike but every single minuet was worth the amazing views we got! The ceremony was simple & intimate, & was followed by some family photos. After we finished family photos we followed with amazing bridal portraits right at sunset.
We explored the area & captured the most amazing content.
After spending some time on bridal portraits & exploring the area, the sun was nearing sunset & we wrapped up the Elopement.
It was an amazing day!
